Sometimes, even native speakers find it difficult to understand native speakers... Have a listen to the sketch by 'The two Ronnies'. Can you guess the things Ronnie Barker is asking for? Scroll down for a little clarification after you have had a go. Here is a little help fo you if there was anything you missed. 'Four candles' ... ' Fork handles' ... In this case garden forks. 'Plugs' (rubber plugs) suggesting the plug for the bath that stops the water draining. ' Electrical plugs' . 13 amp is the measuremnent of size. 'Sore tips' ...
